YongPing Hu

Founder, Senior Partner, and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Yingqi Institute, Ph.D. in Criminal Law from China University of Political Science and Law, part-time Master’s Supervisor at the Law School of Hunan University, and member of the China Law Society. A senior criminal police officer, awarded by the Ministry of Public Security, qualified as a lawyer in 1993, and has been practicing for nearly 30 years. Currently serving as the Director of the Lawyer Rights Protection Committee of the Changsha Lawyers Association, Vice President of the Changsha Credit Society, Member of the Hunan Writers Association, Vice President of the Hunan Reportage Literature Society, and Director of the Hunan Poetry Society, specializing in criminal defense of economic crimes, and skilled in legal affairs such as civil, commercial, and administrative matters.

In 2007, he was named one of the top ten most beloved lawyers among the people of Hunan by Hunan Jingshi Legal Weekly. In 2009, he was named an excellent criminal defense lawyer in Hunan Province by the Hunan Provincial Department of Justice. In 2014, he was named one of the top ten legal figures in CCTV China (Hunan). His achievements were included in the “2014 Outstanding Lawyers of China” volume by the All China Lawyers Association. In 2017, he participated in the “1+1” legal aid action of the Ministry of Justice, supported the legal work of Yuping County, Guizhou Province, and was commended by the Ministry of Justice. He has written works such as “Credit War”, “Red Lawyer”, “Capital Original Sin”, poetry collection “Strange Voice”, “Devil’s Dictionary of Chinese Lawyers”, and “There is a Mao Nine Class in the Literary World”.
